Hints for a Successful Phun Project
1. To add your video to the “Aragon Physics” youtube group, first you need to join the group. Once you join the group you can add your video to the group. The group can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/group/aragonphysics
2. Many people seem to be downloading the wrong version of camstudio. For windows you can go to the following link to get camstudio:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/camstudio/Camstudio-2.0-w32.zip?modtime=1112831484&big_mirror=0
For Mac OS it is hard to find camstudio (let me know if you find it). There are lots of alternatives to camstudio, however, and you can find out about them here:

3. There are two versions of the phun software for windows. One is for XP and the other is for Vista. Make sure you grab the correct one when you go to http://www.phunland.com/wiki/Download
4. If phun is running slow on your computer, try the following:
a. Reboot your machine. This will put your machine into a clean state
b. Disable as many background programs as possible by looking at the little icons in the lower right corner of windows and trying to close them. You can close programs such as aim, msn messenger, anti-virus software, and others that are running. This will preserve more resources on your machine for phun
c. Josh Says “you should just try lowering the detail of phun to try to get a performance boost. In the options tab there is a box you can tick called “simple water rendering”. Try enabling that. Make sure Anti-aliasing is off, and 16 bit textures might help. Also, a smaller, non-maximized screen might cause a performance boost.”
d. water seems to slow phun down a lot, so minimize the use of water if phun is running slow for you
5. If you guys have any more tips please put them in as comments to this post.
